Is it just me or...

Does this movie seem a lot like Kentucky Fried Movie? For anyone that has seen KFM and the trailer for this movie, they seem very similar with a bunch of random sketches and a mini movie in it. Its produced by David Zucker who co-wrote KFM so what im guessing is that this movie is more of a modern day version of KFM. I recommend seeing kentucky fried movie. Its easily one of the funniest movies I have ever...ever seen.

Amazon Women on the Moon is better than Kentucky Fried Movie.
Watch it instead.

Nothing is better than Rex Kramer, Danger Seeker.

amazon women was a so so movie that was nothing but trying to recreate the genius of KFM. what the original

There is no way to beat KFM. Amazon Women on the moon had it's moments... with Arsenio Hall getting his ass kicked by inanimate objects in his home... but c'mon.. you've got Danger Seekers ("A different breed of cat"), Big Jim Slade, Dr. Klahn, and the Gorilla that goes *beep* after being ridiculed about his impotence. That one is in the comedy top 10 easy. Don't forget Teenage Catholic High School Girls in trouble....

Don't forget "That's Armageddon," "Scot Free" the family board game of political assassination (which made SO much more sense after I saw JFK), and best of all, "A Fistful of Yen."

I like Amazon Women on the Moon a lot--the title sketch is very well done, as is the kid buying condoms, the profile of the Playmate who goes to church naked, and Bullsh*t or Not, but Kentucky Fried Movie is on another level entirely.

"I'm not wearing any pants. Film at 11." :p

i agree.

there is no comparison. 'amazon women' had its moments but the entire 'Enter the Dragon' riff {'a fistful of yen'} was better.

yeah, maybe, but WE NEED more hilarious movies like KFM! Current "comedy" is barely able to swim

Yeah - we noticed the similarity in format, too. That's okay - KFM is some decades old, and the Onion folks got theirs right - they're both well worth a watch.

If anything, it reminded me a bit of "Run Ronnie Run", just more random with less of a plot. Still funny tho.

I got the impression that Kentucky Fried Movie was what inspired this movie (and like you said, David Zucker produced). I think they did a pretty good job, but still nowhere near KFM; I'm sorry, but nothing can be compared to a Zucker-Abrahams-Zucker production.

Also, did anyone notice how the scene with the cat being cooked in the pan was very similar to the way it was done during the "commercial" in between the court sketch in KFM?

I'd like to begin by saying f-ck Lance Armstrong.
