I think my Spectres DVD is fake

I bought it from eBay; the seller claimed it was region 2. Has Spectres even been released on region 2 DVD?? Luckily I have a multi-region DVD player so it worked - however, the subtitles are dreadful (sometimes I don't hear things clearly due to background noise so I like to put them on so I don't miss anything). For example, a street name that's blatantly [something] Boulevard is subtitled as "Ben_Bull" (complete with underscore), and when Walter is offering Laura Lee a sandwich, the subtitles say "weed" instead of "wheat". [Who the hell eats weed sandwiches?!] I have no idea whether the other available subtitles are anywhere near accurate, as I can't read Chinese, Bahasa or Thai. (Are they the languages usually available on Spectres? Maybe mine's a special Oriental edition...)

Also, the packaging design is slightly different from most of the (region 1) discs I've seen forsale online...primarily because it seems to be printed on some sort of shiny holographic paper which, when held at certain angles, shows metallic snowflake-esque shapes in the background of the pictures and writing on the DVD sleeve.

One potentially good thing (in a way) is that it doesn't appear to have any sort of copyright protection on it, so I was able to make my sister her own copy which means she doesn't have to keep borrowing mine (which then cuts out the risk of her losing it or leaving it in the sun so it breaks, which she did to one of my other DVDs once).

I'm now tempted to buy a genuine one as well, so it doesn't look like I'm not supporting the people who made this film. In fact, I might never have even heard of it if Marina Sirtis hadn't been involved. (I'll watch just about anything she's in, just out of curiosity...I'm that sort of fan.)
