Black and white

I agree. I see the effect they were trying to make, but the black and white cuts just looked so grainy (during the concert that is...whereas the black and white during the documentary was just irritating).

I enjoyed the DVD immensely since Coldplay is my favorite band and I wasn't lucky enough to see them live on this tour. But I almost prefer the live show aired on MTV2's dollar bill concert. It made you feel as if you were there. The way the DVD was edited reminded me more of a video than one live cohesive show. It's like I couldn't capture Coldplay's strong stage presence as easily because of the editing. Coldplay can hold their own during their live show, and don't need many camera effects and flashy angles to keep the audience captive.

Regardless, Coldplay is utterly awesome live! I can barely watch the Life is for Living version on the DVD without losing it!
