why won't they release this in more cinemas!! i really want to see this movie because its actually something half decent happening in australian cinema at the moment and i cant because its on limited release and is only showing in places more than an hour away from where i live, which isnt out bush or anything either!! it would be great if for once, an australian film got precedence over something which has either a)been in the cinema since oscar times, which means OVERKILL or b)not rated very well and no one wants to see it.. now im going to have to wait for six months until it is on dvd before i can see the movie... so sad... so very sad... no wonder australian films in general dont get the recognition they deserve!

Good News re-release. According to Robert Connolly's Blog. Three Dollars will be opening on a wider scale. So I hope you get to see it soon.

I just hope it eventually gets a release in the UK. I always have to watch good Aussie films on DVD's they seldom get into the cinema over here.

You bet it's annoying - and lot's of cinemas have been wanting to show it, but the distributor won't give them prints - I'm sure the film makers would pleased to know cinemas are begging to show the film but not being given it.

I've never even heard of it. Is it ever coming out in Canada? Or did I just miss it?

The film is due to get a theatrical release in Canada in 2006, date tbc.
