Why did she lie?
I thought this was a decent film. But I just don't understand why she told him that she had an abortion. What was the point of that? When she told him that, that's what really made him crack.
shareAt the point where she decided that she had to break up with him, they were completely connected and he was exerting all kinds of controlling and scary things on her. She tried to let him off easy in the phone call, she told him she didn't think it was working, that they should take things easy ... but during the course of what was a basically long break up phone call, he started to freak out on her. He wasn't going down easy. So, she made a quick decision that the surest way to break up with him was to tell him that she aborted the baby. She wanted done with him and that was the only thing she could come up with to end it at that moment when she was scared she couldn't get away from him.
I haven't said that ... but I've come up with some big ole lies to get rid of guys.
