Going to watch this after that godawful new remake

Now THIS movie is how you do a remake. It captures all the essential elements of the original and even enhances them very much how The Ring remake did before it. Sarah Michelle Gellar is perfect for the lead role and carries the film perfectly. It has the tension, scares, atmosphere, music and plot done wonderfully and with big respect to the source material.

Avoid the 2020 version like the plague and watch this instead.
