Amazing Story behind this Good little film! (SHOT IN 7 DAYS!)

My ex worked on the micro-sized small crew for this film in grip/elec dept and this is really a pretty amazing film for the story behind it! it was shot in 7 DAYS in temperatures below 10 degrees most nights!
They all froze their *sses off from what I heard!

The film was shot right next to the REAL AREA 51 and the crew had to deal with the REAL creepy military people from Area 51 that were watching their every move. One night when they were setting up lights to shoot out in the desert right next to AREA 51 a bunch of Hummers came flying across the Desert at them with their lights on, the hummers stopped just short of where they were filming and watched them with night vision goggles all night. Convoys of Black Chevy Suburbans driving in formation at 80 miles an hour would drive by them on the main road where they would shoot, the windows were tinted dark but they could see peoples heads turning inside the cars watching them as they drove by.

I heard one of the lead actors, Jon Breck picked up a guy who had broken down at night in a Big Rig and the guy was very freaked out because a "HUGE LIGHT" came on over him from the sky in the middle of the night when he was sleeping. I guess there was a behind the scenes thing shot for this film but it's not on the DVD for some reason, maybe they will release it later.

Lot's of weird things happened while they were shooting and my ex said it was one of the strangest places he had ever shot a film!

HOW CAN YOU SHOOT A FILM IN 7 DAYS? BELOW FREEZING TOO? HOW LONG DO MOST FILMS TAKE TO SHOOT? LIKE 30 OR 40 DAYS, RIGHT? THIS IS FILM IS REALLY SHORT BUT THAT IS STILL UNBELIEVEABLE, THUMBS UP. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THEY ARE MAKING A JEEPERS CREEPERS 3? I CAN'T FIND ANYTHING ON IT.

That's fair, it felt like 7 days to WATCH it.

Just saw the movie and Barry's line (posted 4/14/07) was the most entertaining thing I've experienced this evening. I can't help but agree, Barry.

This should have been used as the story-line in the movie, because it would have better than what was put on film. At least there is some logical suspense here.
