The destruction of the statue of Hussein....?

This documentary provided some evidence tto support the claim that the Americans destroying the statue of Saddam in front of cheering supporters was a staged event.

Your thoughts?

Tom Cruise, everyone is here because they care about you. PLEASE COME OUT OF THE CLOSET!

Of course it was. there has been a lot more evidence since. This doesn't mean that people weren't happy to get rid of Saddam, or that it wouldn't have happened otherwise. just that NO WAY would people come out of their houses to bring down that statue when they were terrified of getting killed. But the coalition desperately needed some good media coverage. they needed to create a memorable picture and proof that they won the war. And this was PERFECT!

Of course it was. Personally I loved the video they released that basically showed 20 Iraqis tightly packed around the statue and the rest of the town square empty..perfect representation of the ridiculous role the US is playing in this 'war'.

Ask why, as$hole.
