Why did Klien kill Vrinks wife?

Klein is responsible for the accident of Vrinks Wife. She died. But he shoot her with the gun of Sillien to put the responsability of the accident on him.He doesn't to be accused to force the car to go out of the road and provoc the death of the wife of a cop he helped to put in jail

She was dead or unconscious but Simien was still moving a bit before Klein killed him with his own gun.
Dotting all the I's and crossing all the t's. Klein said it was all her fault for choosing her husband over him.
Its like most murderers of this type think, "If I can't have you nobody can."
If they did an autopsy on her maybe they would have found out that she didn't die from the gun wounds.
