Does this have a manga format?

On another thread two individuals implied that there was a manga of last exile. I was completely unaware of this, is it true? And if so how does it differ from the anime?

Nope, Last Exile is a completely original series. There was no manga. Maybe the two others were referring to doujinshi?

There is, in fact, an official manga.
However, it does not adapt the story of the series itself. Instead, it is an epilogue to the series. The title is "Travelers from the Hourglass."
