trailor music

hi! can you tell me what music is in the trailor?
i think that there are two distinct songs...
thanks! (i particularly like the last one)

There are actually 3 pieces of music in the trailer... the 1st is an outtake from the film's "orchestral" score by the composer John Califra. The middle piece, named appropriately enough "Tarnation", is one of the film's original instrumental tracks written by me (Max Avery Lichtenstein). The 3rd and final piece is a song called "Safe As Milk" that I produced with the band Hopewell for their 2001 record "The Curved Glass". You can find more info on the Tin Drum website "http://www.tindrum.com"; or at "http://www.hopewell.tv";... thanks for listening!

With all the interest that folks have expressed about the music in Tarnation, Tin Drum Recordings has decided to post downloadable MP3s of some of the original music tracks we provided for the film and trailer. You can download these songs at the following address:

Hope you enjoy...

I just called Tin Drum Recordings, and I left a message to tell them how much I liked you. In a monotonous, boring voice.
So, thank you Max. Very much.

They are wonderful. I'm ecstatic to have the mp3s (i've been searching for them, quite a lot actually).

Hey Max, are you an Elliott Smith fan? Just asking, cause I thought I could hear some little piano tidbits here and there on "Tarnation" that sound like they might have been inspired by him, arrangement wise. Just wondering.

Thanks
