it looked real? was it? and where was this really filmed?

it was fake, and i do believe it was filmed there, but it was before it got really bad there.

I believed that this film was fake. I couldn't believe it and it is somewhat insulting for making this "documentary". If you think about it, why the actor George Cali was acting as Don Larson in this movie? You might want to look through the ending credits and figure it out.

Having spent a good portion of my time in Kabul, I would say that the Kabul scenes were actually shot on-location. It looked too authentic, in my opinion. However, Khowst did not resemble the Khowst that I know at all. That doesn't mean it wasn't Khowst, it just means I'm not sure from my end.
