shareGeddy uses DI for his bass so no amp is needed. He feels uncomfortable with nothing behind him at all though, so he has washing machines set up and he does his crews laundry while they're playing. For the DVD they filled the dryers with Rush tee shirts and gave them away during the performance.

The show prominently featured 3 Henhouse brand rotisserie chicken ovens on stage complete with a attendant in a chefs hat and apron to "tend" the chickens during the show. Such unorthodox stage equipment has been continuously seen thereafter.

When they were touring for the Vapor Trails tour someone had told me the dryers represented something to do with vapors in general. Maybe being sort of a tounge-in-cheek reference to how socks get lost in the dryer. Do they get swept away in a vapor trail? who knows. Rush usually does goofy stuff like that

I also saw them in June in 2007. I thought the rotisseries were a great idea! They made me really hungry during the concert! I had a good seat, but the people in the front rows got free cooked poultry if I remember correctly! I think I remember the chef putting some in a basket and then handing some out to the people in the front rows. I was laughing, and hungry. RUSH FTW!!!!!
shareJust out of curiosity, where did you see them in June of 07? I saw them in Mansfield, MA June 07 and had 20 rows back dead center. We brought our digital camera and took great pictures and made a slide show with music from Snakes and Arrows. I'm pretty sure we got a picture of the chef coming out to baste the chicken behind Geddy and it's funny because Geddy's kind of laughing at him. I don't recall him coming out to feed anyone in the audience but I could have missed it while taking pictures of other stuff.
shareI saw them in Scranton, PA, and gosh dangit I can't remember the date. I think it was June 25th. I got a few pictures too, but I wish I got more. That's cool that you got a picture of the Henhouse chef dude! I don't know why I would think they handed some food out to the audience if, in fact, they didn't, but I think they did lol. Maybe I was in a trance O_O
