What the F@#$ happened in this movie????????

All right,

It's 2:30am... my wife and dog are both asleep. I'm up working while watching Puppet Master LEgacy. As much as I used to like the Family Ties retrospective episodes, I thought this was an especially cheap way out for a sequel to a known franchise.

It looks like they spent about twenty dollars on the new footage. (Though I did audition Kate Orsini once, so I was happy to see her working... even under some bizarre makeup)

But I digress. Can anyone who has seen this movie PLEASE EXPLAIN WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED AT THE END? WHO DID HE SHOOT AT? WHY? WHO THE HELL WAS THAT OLD GUY IN THE FIRST PLACE?

My favorite part might be when the movie ended with NO END CREDITS. None. Just a thank you to all who worked on the franchise.

Anyhoo, I'd appreciate the help on this one. Thanks pupper master people.

The only problem is that parts 4 and 5 made no effort to establish the Puppet Master or the puppets as "evil" so labeling them as such retroactively on top of killing the protagonist offscreen(!) in a freakin' clip show movie strikes me as unbelievably cheap, not to mention insulting.

2. what he shoots at,
eather the camera, to make a good ending effect
or
one of the puppets, as she says they wanna revenge, if he did shoot one of the puppets it have to be tunneler, as hes not in pm9 which happend after wards,
after he shot tunneler, the other puppets killed him. i guess

Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys doesn't actually follow this movie or any of the earlier films. It's possible, but much is changed in that one. Origin story is different, and the puppets no longer have human souls, and are not suffering.

Peter/Eric turned to shoot the puppets, killing them, giving them their wish. The series ends there, for good technically. This is what Full Moon intended I believe.

Sounds like the OP had the same concerns I did...I didn't know what he was shooting at either..it threw me off a bit.

Him shooting the puppets makes sense...i guess. As I understand the latest PM movies are prequels again (Axis of Evil, Axis Rising), so this is the tail end of the entire story.

That said, I seriously think Charles Band should sell or temporarily license the Puppet Master franchise to a major studio...I've read he doesn't want to, but his movies just get worse & worse and I honestly think he's clueless! A poor man's George Lucas, redo, rehash, recycle, insert...

With proper script handling, elements from all 10 movies, & a good crew, I think a GREAT horror film can be made with a remake (but NOT with Charles Band's involvement...sorry, he's a hack!)

A remake of sorts using elements from the whole series could work out well. I don't think Charles Band will give up the rights to his biggest money-maker, though. At least not willingly.

So far this is my least favorite of the series. I tried to look at it as a Puppet Master anthology film with all of the stuff featuring Eric and Maclain as the wraparound segment but not even that helped me much. It did refresh my memory of a few parts I didn't remember from each film but that's about the only good it did.

Yea. I think most of the production money was spent on her face.
