I was in utter disbelief watching Duffy's distasteful and cruel antics. I can only wonder... how did out Duffy, an out of control nincompoop ever secure any film deal at all?
If the final film Boondock Saints had any resemblance to the script Harvey Weinstein originally invested in ... I think Weinstein suffers from bad taste and bad judgement. Troy Duffy is an awful person...."Overnight" is an exceptional documentary.
ITA, Troy Duffy was an egotistical idiot, but this documentary was great. If this guy ever needs to blame anyone for his incredible failures, he just needs to look in the mirror and point!
shareThe 90's were a crazy time for the american entertainment industry, it was just before napster and torrenting and all that so record companies and movie studios had tons of dough to through at anything that seemed like the next big "indie" hit. it is similar to the dotcom bubble when venture capitalists were throwing money at any website with a half decent domain name. Those days are over!
