when I was playing it, no. And I doubt they've added it since Ive been gone.

well you can jackout but all that you get is like a menu and the inside of a hovercraft, possibly the nebuchadnezzur(sp?). you can watch cinematics of the backstory and control panel and that type of junk.

Well the idea is that YOU are in the real and when you play the game you're jacking into the matrix.

And that's far cooler, imo, than having "the real" be part of the game. Makes a lot more sense.

Well.... a flying-a-hovercraft-around-tunnels-blasting-robots game may be a fun thing and would be a cool addition to a different game.

But I think it would be a bad addition to the Matrix Online for the reason I said above. I think it's just sooooo much better to have the idea the we're in the real world and that playing the game IS jacking into the matrix.

If you want to do that, play the last level of Enter The Matrix.

Besides nobody liked the last two films because of Zion being depicted toooooooooo much in the films. It serves no purpose to have it as there would only be humans in Zion, and only Zionites would live there. It wouldn't be fair to the humans who work for the merovingian or the machines. That's pretty one sided when you have to consider that there are more than just 3 factions at play.

only in the latest version is the player able to interact with neo after level 25. this involves fetch quests and t level 30 neo transform to show his rebirth. At level 30 you are granted missions in the real world where you must go to zion and overthrow the council. this then opens up the grand master mission line where you pilot a mech to eliminate the sentinels from filling the council with more clones.

tigpoppa is incorrect and very silly. He just makes up stuff on these boards.

That being said there is a method for playing out hovercraft battles. There is a thread on the mxo forums about them...they have been used in live events before. I personally havent used them though.

Also, events in the real world do happen and they are explored, but within the framework of being in the matrix at the time. They istruct the storyline.
