You can rent it from netflix... sometimes they sell dvds, too. Ask them.

I'd never heard of this film! I was browsing Secondspin.com & I came across this doc... Used for 7 bucks.
It's amazing! Such an extra-ordinary man in his room, a strange weirdo outside of his room.

Breathtaking. I'm amazed someone hasn't turn this story into a Hollywood Big Budget Movie...
Hollywood seems happy repackaging the same old garbage every year. Here's a GREAT story... A TRUE story, and it's just ambiguous enough that you can take liberties/poetic license with plot, as no one REALLY knew the full story…
I wish I had talent, I would write a screenplay on this guy.

Well, you might as well take a run at it while you're fired up. I didn't think I could write in screenplay form either, but I'm 91 pages into a script after my writing partner 'bailed' on me.
There are some spectacular character actors who could handle the job nicely and the period and locations would make it really compelling ala the also true story CHANGELING.
I couldn't afford a big name software screenwriting program but I found a FREE one which is fantastic. If a TechnoMoron like me can use it, anyone can. I'm going to send the link in a PM to you, so Mr. and Mrs. IMDb don't think I'm trying to sell something.
