Should I read the book or watch the movie first?

Hmmm...

I would usually say book first, then movie... but then you'd be setting yourself up for a huge dissappointment. That was my problem (well, that and the fact that I was at Permian during the "book years"), I went into the movie nitpicking every detail. After the film was done, I had to stop myself and say, "Self, you need to watch it again as a stand-alone film, and forget that you know more than the director does".

Once I did that, I actually enjoyed the film.

I will say this, though... the book is a fantastic read. Just don't believe everything mentioned in there.

by the time you get this you probably read and seen movie. anyways, i actually watched movie first. then read the book. in this, circumstance and only this, i believe that is the best thing to do. i usually am the person who likes to read the book first then watch a movie. but...eh.
