Awesome Movie!

I'm a big fan of independent films, and this is by far one of my favorite. I own hundreds of DVD's and when I decide what to watch there is always something pulling me towards evil cult. The film was done very very well and from what I have heard over at www.taylortwinpictures.com is that a prequel and possibly a sequel may be in the works which excites me. If you have not seen this film and are an independent horror fan I highly reccommend it. You can buy it or rent it online.

If it was done as a Satire or a joke, this movie is in fact genius. If they did this movie with serious intentions then it is a piece of *beep* I hope it is the former, because it was hilarious.

I thought this was one of the most entertaining indie films I've seen. Just my opinion. I can't wait until they come out with the next installment.

Yeah. I'm one of the directors. (Sorry if Sarcasm doesn't come out well over the internet)

It's just my kind of comedy. I like corny style horror.

I am over the top and I only post mostly on stuff I really like. I don't go on the boards to bash people who actually think somethings good.

What are you doing on the Evil Cult board anyway? Shouldn't you be commenting on Back To The Future or The Karate Kid?

Very well said, fridaythe13thcss. Clearly, everyone who rags on this movie just doesn't get it, and isn't familiar with TRUE independent cinema. No Country For Old Men and There Will Be Blood are not REAL independence. Evil Cult is. And it's quite possibly the best next-to-nothing budget movie I've ever seen in my life. People who think Evil Cult is "terrible" are clearly looking at it in the wrong way. With no understanding of what it takes for the common man to make an underground movie, and no effing SENSE OF HUMOR!

Evil Cult is genius. Period.

Literally genius. No exaggeration. Genius.

I know a thing or two about making an underground movie. Evil Cult is a crap sandwich. The makers just happen to have enough people/relatives willing to post here and nonsensically rave about it. Or they're doing it themselves. Sorry.

You can't just slap a bunch of VHS footage together that you made with your drunk high school buddies and call it an "underground masterpiece". It just doesn't work that way, and it's actually pretty insulting to the people who work their asses off on something truly "underground", or at least "worthwhile".

Fun's fun, but let's not get carried away.
