They gave him such a grating annoying voice that didnt even match the character. i kept getting distracted from the movie because the voice was so annoying. does anyone agree?

shareWell Jerry Seinfeld wrote and produced this movie so naturally he was going to cast himself in the lead role. But I have to agree with you that his voice really is annoying and doesn't suit the character.
Seinfeld is a good comedian and I've always enjoyed his sitcom "Seinfeld" but as a voice actor, he is terrible. He has a very loud and annoying voice. He would be okay as secondary character who is only on-screen for a short time, but he is completely wrong to be the voice of the main character.
Actually if you think about, a lot of the characters in this movie have annoying voices and everybody is always screaming loudly. My ears were aching by the time the movie was over! That coupled with average animation and a story allegedly plagiarised from a bunch of Swedish students make this a very mediocre film, IMHO.
"I'm the dude playin' the dude, disguised as another dude!"
