Why is her character hurt so much? I mean, in the beginning she looses her partner, which left her devastated. Then, she starts to work with Raza; they have a great partnership, which leads to them falling in love. That was a great relationship. Back to the point, he ends up dying (so sad!) and leaves her all alone again. I liked her character a lot, but WHY did she have to go through all this.

I also liked her character very much, and in that scene with suicide bombers it was obvious that someone is going to die, i actaually hoped it won't be her. Can't remember when i last time actually cared what happens to a character. She was very belivable and likable, the best part in the show!

Well Emily is a really unfortunated woman.
By the way Emily's charactor seems to be skeptical about not only US gonverment, US agents but also US citizens.
well, last one is just my wild guess.
But she seems to be fallen in love at the very first sight with Arabian-American Raja.
Did she thaught "Wow this little boy has a cute baby face"?
eventually they had the "intercourse" and then... RIP.
