I watched the show tried to enjoy it but couldn't get Mr Slater's voice out of the program , his voice the writing, the words he used yuck , someone else would have been better in the narration , Sharon Stone or Alec Baldwin someone , anyone would have been better in his place , stick to acting Christian ...
shareI think Slater DOES have it as a narrator. I mean he's no Kenneth Branagh but come on at least he has some enthusiasm. Plus,he REACTS to what we see on the screen. Besides, he's a whole lot better than John Goodman(when he narrated WDRA I pictured Fred Flinstone in a recording studio reading from cue cards.)
shareI think Christian Slater was almost as good as Kenneth Branagh. John Goodman was pretty good too but not as good as Slater.
shareI get the feeling that Americans simply don't make as good narrators as Brits. No offense! (I'm not British myself by the way; I'm Dutch) John Goodman in When Dinosaurs Roamed was also not as good as Kenneth Branagh or the British narrators on Discovery and National Geographic Channel.
