True stories?
Are these really supposed to be true stories, which is what the commercials for the show said?
I only saw the Mongolian desert sequence, so I can't say for all of them. But the velociraptor and protoceratops fight was real. There's a very famous fossil of the two in the middle of battle.

shareIt's impossible to know if the stories are true. All fossils like the Velociraptor/Protoceratops fight show is a brief moment in time, providing enough material for one scene only (showing them fight). Everything else is just conjecture.
