Ok here's my problem with this show...

I've watched this from time to time and the only thing I liked about it is either phil gordon's or phil helmuth's commentary. Obviously the celebs are strongly encouraged to be talkative, funny, and entertaining. So what you have is, these celebs trying way too hard to be funny and entertaining and it comes off as being very forced and it's not funny in almost all cases. It just comes off as being annoying, and it's even worse when you have a real comedian because they just don't know when to stop. Now some of these people are good players, but to me, they give off the impression like they don't give a dam if they win or not, because it's for charity and as long as they get their 15 minutes of fame on tv that's all that matters. The funny thing is, these days the pro poker players are much more well known than most of these so called celebs on the show. If let's say daniel negraneu was walking down the street with almost any of these celebrities I'd be willing to bet that daniel would be the one being crowded and asked for autographs. So all in all, way too much clowning around and goofing off with everybody trying to be a comedian. I kinda have the same problem with poker royale on the game show network where there too they are strongly encouraged to talk. So what you have is people are basically talking just for the sake of talking when they really have nothing to say.
