The 4400 - Green Theme

I am only on season 3 now and loving the show on Netflix. Has anyone else noticed the use of the colour GREEN in the series. It is a dominant and recurring theme in the wardrobe used. I looked it up on the web but there is no info. Does anyone know any more about this?
