Blade Runner comparison bar scene

Just a thought, but the bar scene with Sadie and Eve when they are sat in the circular seat opposite each other, strongly reminds me of Blade Runner: the music here is similar, and there's something about the intensity of the close-ups, the lighting, and the overall tension of the scene. In this scene, by the time Eve lights a cigarette, it reminds me of the first time when Deckard and Rachel meet and she starts to smoke. I might be seeing too much here, but it distinctly seemed too Blade Runner-esque to me to just be a co-incidence.

I thought this film was pretty good, and could have been very good with just a bit tighter artistic control. It was certainly above average anyway.
