On the Outs is worth the $$$

This movie was a surprise. I would have never rented it if it werent for the guy who works behind the counter at my local dvd store telling me to rent it. (I tend to gravitate towards new, fresh, and non commercial art films) so far the past few months he's been telling me to get this. finally I did. and it was well worth it.

I wasnt expecting much. Hell I wasnt expecting anything, and actually didnt even want to watch it but I put it in deciding I could at least go to sleep to it at 130am. Needless to say I stayed up until it ended.

Though there are a couple "actors" (with small bit parts) that werent so great...the overall feel, message, and acting in the film was great.

The girl who played OZ was the *beep* lol. If she isnt like that in person, (i..e. dyke, gangsta, hood) then she deserves an Oscar lol. for real. cuz I swear she was on point with that character.

Great film. almost seemed like it wasnt acting but a documentary of 3 lives. which I'm sure is what they were going for. and it worked.
