Vista compatibility fix anyone?

This board is not getting a lot of attention, but I thought I would leave this question anyway. I know a lot of people are having problems with MOHPA freezing right after starting a new game. Yes, I have already tried to run it in XP service pack 2 compatibility mode, with admin privledges and even disabled user account control. Still freezes. Any real fixes? A patch perhaps?

yea it crashes for me on vista after a the training mission loads
and it does it even later when i resume my game...
grr stupid fista
as of a patch of fix i have no idea. if u found one let me know
if i find one ill try nad get back here wtih it
