I wouldn't mind seeing it a movie

reply

yes, it is an excellent game.

The flying provides a nice break to the monotony of constant first person soldier shooting..and though the flight physics are quite crazy, and hard to get used to for hardened flight simmers, it'd be good for first-timers not wanting to get stuck.

Perhaps it sould be improved with some vehicle driving or the like.

Only gripes are the situations where you can get wedged into objects by other game characters.

or diving too low on the island and getting your plane stuck on a bomber :P

I think that if they took the atmosphere, attention to detail, and character and plot development, and combined it with Call of Duty 2's graphics and combat style that they could have a great game. Now what would really be cool would be the hyothetical assault on the Japanese homeland. A what-if scenario if the atom bombs had not been used.

The flying mission was a friggin nightmare! I've played lots of flying missions in games before but here I couldn't tell which way was up, down, and kept crashing into the ground or radio towers. I found myself battling the controls more than I was the German fighters.

if this is some sort of judgement call, I'd be wary of the types of individuals you make such hasty remarks toward. It so happens I spend a great deal more time writing and reading then I do playing video games. Bear in mind the simple fact that you have displayed remarkable ignorance in posting this statement, merely for the stunning hypocrisy one could find in your evaluation of me. For one thing you are now, in lieu of "reading a book" (as you implied that I ought to do) guilty of posting on the very same forum thread as I have, therefore you clearly are not one to make such judgements. Secondly, you merely being on the computer at all instead of, as you say, 'reading a book' clearly indicates you as a hypocritical simpleton so incapable of backing up what you say that when you insult someone you wind up looking more the moron then the insultee.

oh? I apologize then, I wasn't aware that people weren't allowed to make mistakes. But then of course, you clearly never make mistakes, not after reading your post just now, I can't imagine you'd ever, at any point in your life could possibly have made a factual error. So yes, I suppose I am ignorant. But I suppose this also makes you a stuck up moron then doesn't it? But then, you probably already knew that as well didn't you?

And given the fact that you're apparently so "intelligent" (I use the word loosely here) I won't need to explain that the above lines are sarcasm.

The mistake I made was done long before you even involved yourself in this conversation. "Go battle a book." was the beginning of this whole thing and you were in fact, the one to say this.

reply

[deleted]

until you posted it was in fact, a "conversation" you will see that I was not the OP, therefore there had to have been others before me to have said anything, hence a conversation, my first post was a positive contribution to said "conversation". The fact that you did not and have not said anything that bears any relevance whatsoever to the game itself only goes to show and display the fact that you are the ignorant one. Also, the fact that when I made said contribution to conversation you then proceeded to involve yourself in it by being insulting instead of simply politely correcting my error (which I would have taken graciously and even gratefully) However, your intelligence apparently far outstrips my own, as proven by your unneccesary and unwanted "Go read a book" comment which, I'm sorry to say, lacked wit or consideration for a fellow human being.

Ooh, now there's a clever comeback. I'm not a human? Tell me, have you ever encountered a fish, monkey or other animal that could successfully type as well as I can? Another animal perhaps, that has a greater grasp of the english language than I? If so I beg of you to prove this. Your idiotic comment aside, I trust that there are more intelligent people than you left in this world otherwise we truly are screwed as a society. Your dismally low intellect is astounding and taking a look at you (as you are, presumably a human) an example of what little humanity has to offer makes me amazed that we've progressed as far as we have. So take your ignorance and stupidity, your incredibly low-brow intelligence and join those who might actually consider you intelligent (if there is anyone so stupid to actually have a lower IQ than yourself)

reply

oh? No comeback? Perhaps I've made my point?

reply

This was likely the only time in your life so far that you ever caught someone else making an error, and you take pride in being the one who caught it. You must have been high-fiving all your zit faced anime loving friends after writing all that down.

This would have been after the dirty Krauts bombed Pearl Harbor I assume, right Blutarsky?

After watching Pearl Harbor and hear my father talk about the second world war, yeah... I got a hold of this game. And it's excellent.
