Rewatching this tonight i noticed 2 things to say the least.

1. I'm rewatching the Mystery Of Natalie Wood and my God Justine was horrible. Natalie had a very distinct voice and certain type of beauty and gracefullness. Justine looks *beep* like Natalie and next to her Justine is a hot ass mess or let's say unfortunate looking, but she can't help that. Her voice in the movie is horrible and she doesn't even carry herself like Natalie.

2. They couldn't afford a better wig for Sophie Monk who plays Marilyn.

1. Justine isn't a dead ringer for Natalie Wood but who is? her voice could arguably have been better but in the end she pulled off the role. in my opinion at least. So what if she didn't carry herself like Natalie, i think Justine did a good job if not the strikingly amazing.

2. yeah that wig was terrible. It was WHITE. not platinum blone but WHITE. she did the voice good though.

I don't think Justine Waddell is/was unfortunate looking in my opinion I think she is prettier than Natalie was (not that Natalie was ugly)

Totally agree with you. I couldn't stop thinking how beautiful Justine was in this, at times much more striking than Natalie even.

And also I felt she channeled her a lot: they showed a lot of real pictures of Natalie and some pretend pictures of Justine as Natalie and sometimes I wasn't sure who of them it was. I think she did a great job. One of the best biographical performances I've seen.
