Weatherly is great!!!

I felt that the portrayal of RJ in the movie was very two dimentional. I don't blame Michael Weatherly for that (I like him and thought he did the best he could with the material he was given), I blame whoever wrote the script. There was nothing to indicate what Natalie saw in RJ! Where was his legendary wicked sense of humour? Where was his charm? Where was his sensitivity? Where was his intelligence?

I also felt that it would have been better to have had another actor playing the 'older' RJ, rather than just making Michael wear padding and a dodgy wig! In the later scenes (I'm thinking particularly of the 'final night' scenes), he just looked like a young man wearing padding and a dodgy wig - and the only person he reminded me of was Stephen King! Not good when he's supposed to be portraying a man who was still handsome and pretty damn sexy!

On NCIS the chemistry between Wagner and Weatherly, portraying father and son, is pretty darn good. (Which is generally true of every character in NCIS.)

If in this film, The Mystery of Natalie Wood, Weatherly portrays Wagner as a shallow cad, and possibly a murderer, how do Wagner and Weatherly fake the chemistry on NCIS? Neither seems to be that strong an actor. Hart to Hart proves Wagner's weaknesses with each episode.
