ummm missed the point much dimwitt, the movie is not about Norway, its about friendship and Evil taking over the world.
That is the stereotypical veiw about Norway and it is used to set up the location quickly, if Ron liked norway then he would have stayed there wouldn't he. gah stooopid

reply

You're right, Norway is nothing like that, as I've seen it. Ron is a fictional character by the way.

Okay, dear neighbour. If you learn how to spell you'll sound a little bit more trustworthy. Nothing wrong abour Norway, it's a nice country. Except that you steal all our olympic gold medals. But you have to look pass the cliches and laugh at them. So do I when people make fun of Sweden. Still, it is annoying when they make scandinavian people talk german. And you don't have school lunch in Norway, you have matpacke. Btw, how can you people survive on sandwiches? I've lived in Norway for a time and I was hungry like 24/7.

reply

Norway is portrayed wrong in this movie, and if it was the intention, then fine, but if it was how they thought Norway was like, then I feel sorry for them. Norway is like the US, only smaller. We're even more modern than the US. We don't have school lunch in Norway, that's correct, but we bring a little something called "lunch", not "matpacke". Sorry for sounding so harsh, but you complained about the other persons grammar. We don't steal your olympic gold medals, we earn them 100%, if that was mentioned as a joke then I'm sorry for beliving you were serious. If you think of our lunch at school, we don't only eat sandwiches, we eat whatever we feel like. I even bring Kebab to school sometimes.

who the hell cares

the cartoon is pitched to young people and somehow i don't think they care. OH my god i'm not a teenager myself, and "I" don't care.

the point of the story is to use a country that people would KnoW little about and make the 'RON' character feel isolated

there would be no story if he loved the place.

'movie title': 'RON GO'S TO NORWAY AND BUYS A COTTAGE' WTF?? lol

also upon he missed his only one true friend that stuck with him through PRE - K

P.S THE LAST GUY HAS SPELLING MISTAKES ON PURPOSE, AS IN, IT WAS A JOKE

reply

No, it was a mistake. Get the difference.

Th staff of the show doesnt really have the budjet to go to Norway to look how it is.
I myself are from Sweden and we always look blond on movies, all girls are tall and curvie or strong and biff. The guys are big and everybodys stupid. And all Swedish girls are easy (Heh, they really havent been here) and everybody is called Inga or Sven and say "Ja" all the time.
Its stupid but I dont get mad about it. Many in Sweden thing that all Americans are selfish idiotes that only care for themself and only whant power.
Thats how the world is. You dont know anything about places you never been to.

reply

Crusader Wesley, you are so right!

reply

You get that about any country. Well, not the specifics, but on TV any country is made up of the simple stereotypes.

England: Bad teeth and Prince Charles.
Ireland: Red hair and drunks.
New Zealand: Farmers and a lot of sheep.

They are rarely true.

reply

America isn't like that either.

English Language Anime: Dub it, don't pervert it.

reply

So should I be offended at how they portray Australia?
No. It's a film and a cartoon one at that. It's also funny to me that the world see's Aus as a really laidback outback country where we refer to all girls as "sheila." But it's not true now is it?
Just like in the second film, we don't actually let kangaroos into our restraunts, on our racetracks yes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8DiBz59L5Q but not restraunts.

Why bother with a signature?
