I disagree with the idea that you have to be all about ball to be into this film. As focused as it is on basketball, I think the film is so well cut that it works well as a human condition story with basketball as a background feature. Notice what Hook focuses on in his discussions later on in the film.

Notice the "i dont think you have to be into basketball to like it tho." ;) Hope to see this movie soon! Do you all think Hooked is better than Rebound? Who's better Hook or The Goat?

the goat was something else and maybe the most legendary of them all as the story goes, he took quarters off the top of the back board. However, this film proves Hook got it done maybe like no other before him and no other after him. At 5'9 he jumps over cars, people, tables and people and dunks. He does 360's over people and dunks. But as Brian Shaw says in the film, his game was complete and you get to see that in the film. I'll tell you this much, I would pay top dollar if I could see the Goat and Hook play on the same court. It would be one for the ages...
