The dvd replaced all the soundtracks in the tv cable version

Be advised, imdb fans, that if you purchase the dvd of this movie, all the rock group soundtracks have been replaced by generic instrumental rock music. I surmise the reason is copyright issues and the avoidance of paying big bucks to the rock singers and their bands for using their music in the dvd release. I was very disappointed that the soundtracks had been replaced in the dvd. Boo, cheap ba$tard$!

Does anyone recall the exact song titles of the music in the cable tv version?

Thanks for the info.

I'll make a note of it.

Yeah, I hate that. The music for the DVD release, "Birds Of Prey: The Complete Series" was butchered. They couldn't even get the opening music, "Revolution" by Aimee Allen (great pop tune). The replacement is so ultra generic.

Sometimes they do get it right, most of the music was removed from the box set, "Daria: The Complete Animated Series". Lots of love and effort was put into that release. It feels so natural, doesn't feel missed.

I noticed when it was broadcast just recently on LMN, "The Look of Love" which underscored Heidi's beauty transformation and clothes shopping montage (start of her ho-career) was replaced by some non-descript weak flat background music.

I also recall when I saw it on-demand years ago, the scene where she takes off her top while "interviewing" with Madame Alex is replaced by a quick distance shot of an obvious acting-double
