I read about this in the NZ Film website. Looks interesting and I hope it gets a US release (it has Cliff Curtis, aswell as cast members from the movie Rain and Lord of the rings). Don't know when the cast info here will be put up though.
shareI saw the rough cut of this film when I was doing a film course in my hometown of Wellington, NZ. Larry Parr (the director) was a guest tutor for a few weeks at the end of 2002. Even in it's unfinished state I thoroughly enjoyed this film. Though back then it was referred to as Crime Story. It's a shame post production got delayed due to some problems with the film commission. Cliff Curtis has a fairly minor role, and has very little screen time.

I'm so JEALOUS. Julian Arahanga is one of my fave actors and you got his father as a tutor. OMG. That's not fair. I study film too and we get people that are top of their field here but they're not Larry Parr.
