Because I was writing a little screenplay just for fun, like a creative writing kind of thing and in my story the main character was a recovering heroin addict. In the story, I wrote down that heroin came in vials in rock form but in this movie the heroin came in a powder form so, which is it? I want to know if this is currect or not? Heroin comes in powder form and is generally brown. It's commonly injected but can also be inhaled, which is risky. You are thinking of crack cocaine, which generally comes in rocks which are smoked. Crack is made from cocaine powder, which is generally inhaled.

but i would like to clarify. heroin comes in several different forms, one of which is indeed rock. the dark brown is the crappy sticky tar kind that is much easier to inject than inhale. the white or light brown rocks can be broken into powder, which is what i'm pretty sure i saw being used in this movie.
