Music
There's a haunting song that gets played over and over in this film. I know I've heard it somewhere else. Perhaps the thin red line. If someone could tell me which film also has this music, I'd appreciate it. It's driving me nuts.

shareThe music that is frequently repeated is "An Ending (ascent)" by Brian Eno.
It's on the 'Clean'soundtrack album, and also on the soundtrack album for 'Traffic'
And also on the 28 Days Later OST. Maybe a bit overused piece if you ask me. It fit the movie pretty well, but at the same time I got this imagery from other movies from hearing it, especially the Traffic's ending.
sharewasnt it from the same score as The Butterfly effect?
Does anybody know another source for the song "Down in the Light" by Maggie Cheung besides the soundtrack? I tried searching for it in music stores and on kazaa. I saw it as an import soundtrack but i'm not about to put down 40-ish dollars for just one song.
shareFrom Brian Eno there also Jezebel's song (played in the London studio)
shareThere are some songs that appear in Traffic as well. It's made by Cliff martinez. And there's also a song by Brian Eno that also appears in Traffic.
sharewhat's the song that plays in the trailer of this movie. i think the lyrics goes:
"wait for me, wait for me, wait for at the bottom of the sea...look through the window, tiny sky."
i'm looking everywhere, but not luck.
isn't that hilarious? that one song could make a movie seem so much more dramatic.
i think the award should be given to whoever did the trailer. brian eno--great pick for trailer music.
Did anyone notice that The Notwist is on the soundtrack.....they are this great German band.
sharewhere was the notwist? i kept hearing sonic youth's 'schizophrenia' with maggie singing, which was fairly bizarre in a bad way, i thought.

I love The Notwist!
Where does their music appear in the movie?
Another Brian Eno song plays twice in the film, "Taking Tiger Mountain" from the album of the same name.
sharemost of the music is brian eno.one song is called Spider and I,also a song called Burning Airlines, also the Jezebel Spirit,as noted by another poster.i really enjoyed the music.
shareAlso heard Eno's "Third Uncle" which Bauhaus once covered. Eno is awesome. Has anyone seen "the Son's Room" where the father picks up "Before and After Science" and just listens? Eno and Mogwai in movies just kick scenes up to 11.
**You haven't seen enough movies. All of life's riddles are answered in the movies.**
I have seen "The Son's Room," and that is an amazing scene (and a harrowing film). Sometimes – actually most of the time – music fills the void when words just can't express a feeling of emptiness, loss and sorrow. I think I'll put on "Before and After Science" now ...
