Okay. I didn't really like this exact piece since it dealt with a lot of drug use clichés and I don't particularly like that subject matter, but on the basis of being "between cultures", what are films like this?

What do you mean? Are you looking for drug culture movies (Drugstore Cowboy comes to mind), Canadian-Chinese-French-US-English culture movies (Double Happiness comes to mind), or inter-cultural Maggie Cheung movies (Irma Vep comes to mind)?

Any type of inter-culture movies, not necessarily with Maggie Cheung.

I just saw "The Namesake" on DVD. I thought that was an excellent "inter-culture" movie (the way you are defining it, I think).
