Under the rule of a fundamentalist state

This movie is about one woman's attempt to seek asylum in the USA.

It also shows the horror of life under the rule of fundamentalism. Any country (including the USA) ruled by a fundamentalist state can easily turn into an oppressive state similar to the Taliban state represented in this movie.

Narrow minded fundamentalists (whether its Christian, Jewish, or Islamic) will do anything to oppress their own people. All for the sake of "right thinking" people.

For me this movie is a cautionary tale on many levels.

The moderates of the world need to make their voice heard.
