How Does It End?

It's been a while since I've seen this so sorry it won't be very detailed and I can't remember the order so I just go by telling complete threads of the storyline. When Celeste goes back to work, Mitch starts to notice her and says he wants to read some of her stories and invites her to a party. Celeste takes Kyle to the party. He thinks it's a date but she thinks she's just taking her gay best friend, so he gets pretty confused when she keeps talking to Mitch and I think that's when she ends up going home with him. I think he tries to sleep with her but she thought he just wanted to talk about her stories, which it turns out he never read. She eventually goes home and the next time she sees Kyle he's mad at her because of the party but they make up and she tells him she wants to set him up with her cousin Dana. So Kyle and Dana are both sitting at a restaurant waiting for each other and eventually Dana gets up to leave and spots Kyle, so that's when Kyle realises that Celeste thinks he's gay. Dana tells Celeste that Kyle isn't gay and I think they have a bit of a confrontation about it and Kyle ends up mad at Celeste. At some point, I think Celeste sees Mitch in his office with Lauren and realises that he was only ever interested in sleeping with her. She also finds out that Lauren has been making up references in her stories, and tells Mitch about it right before they're about to go to print, so he needs a story but can't put one in when he knows it's made up, so Celeste gives him one of her stories and it gets used. I think he tries get Celeste to like him again but she makes some smart remark and walks out of the office, then Mitch calls Lauren into his office and presumably fires her. Then Celeste and Kyle make up and go skating in the park together. Awwwww.
