I liked Nicholas Brendon in Buffy, but im sorry to say he wasnt a convincing gay. I mean paul rudd in the object of my affection was on the money. I have a lot of friends who are transgender and gay. I dont know what made the casting director think Nicholas is convincing.
shareI don't think he was suppossed to be realistic first. As you might have noticed, everyone in this movie was sort of over the top and caricatures. He was just supposed to be comic relief guy sort of and I think he did a nice job with that.
shareReally? I thought he was very convincing, though that could be the Nick fan in me being majorly biased, but I thought he did a spectacular job in what was a very silly movie. This movie isn;t intended to be taken seriously, everyone's a characature of a steriotype, but they have something in them that breaks that steriotype and that's what made this movie great, I just hope they release it on DVD with more extra features than an extra features factory.

No, but he was trying to portray a certain type of personality and it didn't come off smoothly in some parts but overall I thought he was fine, for this movie anyway.
