years. Saw it when it first came out. This time was more powerful. The emotions are very real. I forgot how sweet and understanding Jack's mom was and what a jerk his dad was.

Yes I agree. On second watching, the scene with Jack's mom stood out to me. There didn't seem to be much love in that house, the house that Jack grew up in. And she seemed to be conveying an appreciation and understanding of the feelings her son and Ennis shared for one another.
