Random thoughts after watching it.
A few things I noticed or have questions on.
Did they ever establish that Kathleen knew about Michael's sexual infidelity and porn usage? I never saw anything that showed she knew about it?
Did any of the kids have jobs? I never saw anything about them working they all seemed like they lived in the big house?
I am still unclear on how he ended up with all of the children when the boys had a mother and the girls had other relatives alive, including a Grandmother and an Aunt who could have taken them. They did say it was in their will but it seems a little od
I did notice that the girls seemed almost unstable as if they haven't had many life experiences and were clearly very dependent on their Dad which he seemed to realize himself. They seemed almost skittish.
This family seemed like they consume a very large amount of alcohol. I am not from the south but it seemed every time they were gathered they were drinking and they mentioned she took Valium and the lawyer asked him to take some Valium. Is this a normal upper class thing or a Southern thing or just this family?
I also felt unnerved by the way Michael, his brother and some of the children and lawyers joked around at times in poor taste. Bottom line is that this about the death of a woman. Kind of tacky to me.
