Too much emphasis on family, not enough on building!

Has anyone noticed that recently literally half the show is about the family and no enough is actually about the makeover? It used to be interesting seeing the team interract and figure out what they are going to do, now all we get is a 20 minute sob story followed by 15 minutes of building of which 10 minutes consists of the family looking at their laptop. And then the rest is the reveal where they get to look at their house (more and more of which are starting to look exactly the same). I hope it changes soon, could be why the ratings are going down.

They should do at least ten to fifteen minutes on the family.
And the rest of the forty-five minutes on the building.
Or better yet, cancel America's Funniest Home Videos and put it for two hours instead.

I liked that way, and it's the only reason why I watch the show, for the families not the building the house itself. It was Ty who wanted it to be like that because it would of been another show like the ones HGTV or TLC so I like that it's about the families more.
