What would you guys say are the saddest episodes of Extreme Makeover Home Edition? For me, I would have to say the one episode about the father who is slowly dieing, has a muscle disease and speaks like a baby! It was so sad! I forgot the name of the family. I think it was the William's family.
shareThe one that makes me cry every time I see it is the Tipton-Smith family. The mother who lost her son in a car accident and then they had the girl on who received his heart. What a sweet woman that mother is and her girls are so cute. I hope they're doing well and didn't lose their home.
shareThe Kadzis family had the most downer/bittersweet of endings. The father (who was battling cancer) went to the hospital the night before the design team arrived and lost his eyesight. He never got to see the new house that he pleaded to ABC to build for his family. His wife had to bring in a 3D model of the new house into his hospital room so he could feel what the new house was like. He died a few days later.

I think the saddest was when there was a little girl who battled cancer twice. She was so exhausted second time round she asked to die.
After the show she died a little while later.
My wife, like letitiadionne, cries too!
We can relate to the show. We have so much, we enjoy helping others. Last night there was n episode where they made a round ceiling window depicting two doves.. which represented both parents to the 7 kids who were left behind.
