A disgrace to the 1st film

I don't even know where to start....

The first Transporter was a damn good action flick, and both Frank Martin and the "bad guys" seemed to have class and were believable (even if the fight scenes were a bit over-the-top).

In #2 they turned everyone including Frank into a joke. They made Tarconi to look like a freakin moron. They made sure to *beep* over and over-mention at any cost "the rules". The "bad guys" especially Lola (Kate Nauta) were the most unbelievable jokes i've ever seen. I especially despised the horrible fight scene where she manages to swing around a room using strings of beads. Real believable there. Audry was o.k. at best, the kid was annoying as hell.

I'm glad they brought Transporter 3 back to its origins as a foreign set film. One of this movies biggest flaws is that it's set in the U.S. and that makes it lose a lot of the general feeling and ambiance from the first straight off. Even if #3 isn't nearly as good as the original, It is still vastly superior to #2.

I haven't yet seen #3, but I agree with everything you have said.
Transporter 1 = 7/10 Cool
Transporter 2 = 3/10 HORRIBLE!

It's a pity Jason Statham had to take part in this crapfest, what a waste...

This is a bit like "Die Hard 2" compared to the original "Die Hard." I enjoyed it for what it tried to do, but I can see the overall fanbase views the trilogy of films much in the same way the average "Die Hard" fan view their trilogy. Let's just leave out "Leave Free or Die Hard" here, okay?
