How many bullets?
Just how many bullets were supposed to be in the machine pistol magazines?
It felt like she had shot a million bullets before she had to reload?

Not to mention that she unloaded the empty cartridges, then shot those two cops without reloading first. Unless those pistols also hold twenty bullets in the chamber.

If you watch carefully she reloads by slamming them down on a pair of spare magazines stored on the small of her back. Ridiculous and implausible, but it answers your question.
shareI believe those are supposed to be 30rd magazines...
And don't forget that this movie doesn't exactly strive for realism.
Unless I'm mistaken, when she ejects those 30 round mags she brings the pistols down to her sides and slides in new mags which are on her belt before turning.
Perhaps someone can freeze or slow the DVD and confirm.
Don't touch that!
Why Not?
It does very bad things...
Isn't that how Lara Croft does it?
shareyeah she has two more clips on her belt just above her butt, almost exactly like lara croft. only in this the director used it to show a closeup of her butt. anybody know what type of guns those were?
Quod me nutrit me destruit
Anyone know what kind of guns Lara Croft is supposed to have in the movies? I think they're not your ordinary pistols...
The games of course don't matter in that she has infinite pistol ammo.
In Transporter she uses 3rd Gen (note accessory rail) Glock 17s converted to Full Auto. NOT Glock 18s because 18s have selector switch on the side of the slide. The extended mags hold 33 rounds, standard mags hold 17 rounds. Also Glock 18 and 18Cs are different, the "C" is for compensated. The 17s are not, So the Trivia for this movie is completely wrong. Sigh. Who wrote that stuff?
Lara Croft Uses HK USP Match if memory serves... Just checked yep .
The problem is they faked it with good ol' movie magic. I watched the scene frame by frame - it baffled me at first too - and what happens is she unloads the empty clips, brings down the guns on her sides and cut to a shot from the back of her pulling the guns away from her sides, now fully reloaded. There are no shots of the magazines sliding into the guns, and absolutely no place on that skimpy outfit where they could have been stored. It's all part of the ridiculous campy action the film revels in.
