JB'S BJ

That was a film they used to show to the audience during concerts. The time I saw it, it was part of the set-up for "Kyle Quit The Band." Jack asks Kyle for ten dollars (I think it was that much), and Kyle says he doesn't have it. Jack goes ballistic and Kyle quits and they both walk off stage. The screen comes down and the movie starts, so it's supposed to be six weeks after Kyle quit. Jack has instantly fallen on hard times without Kyle but Kyle is fine.

The punchline makes more sense in this context too: When Kyle goes to pay him, Jack says something like "You DID have ten bucks!" Whatever, something like that. Then they come back back out on stage and play "Kyle Quit the Band."

I can't imagine it all making sense out of context.

I saw that live and it was great. I also saw JB sing Rush's "Spirit Of The Radio". F ing awesome.
