Dry....

Despite being proudly South African, I have to say that I went into this movie hoping for a starkly beautiful production and was bored to tears less than half way through. There are VERY few movies that I really dont want to finish, but unfortunately this was one of them. If it hadn't been for the fact that I was watching it with other people, I seriously think I would have left....and that is saying a lot. The cast was brilliant and normally cinematography or good acting pull me through a weak script, but unfortunately, nothing could distract me from the sluggish, unattractive story line. All in all, as dry as the karoo it was filmed in.
