I end up watching this film more or less every year around Christmas and while I recognize that this is not "Trading Places" nor "Home Alone" I still find it pleasurable enough from beginning to end and I was very surprised to find such a low vote on imdb.
Usually you would find unwatchable garbage under 5/10, this film just doesn't seem that bad. It achieves its goals as a Christmas comedy movie, nothing more nothing less.

shareIt is really not that bad. I gave it a 6, but you could make a case for a 7. I think Xmas comedies either appeal to people or they don't. Even though I thought it was decent, it is clearly a rung below some of the better examples in this genre like Christmas Vacation.

It's a disturbing ode to conformity and the persecution of the different. It deserves WORSE!!!
